10 months ago Jagada Chambers, past sports writer for the Oakdale Leader and current sports writer for the Manteca Bulliten, and his wife, Dawn, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy named Jyriaun. The joy of bringing your first born child home from the hospital is something every parent can relate to. However, what most of us can't understand is hearing the doctors tell you that your beautiful baby boy has a life threatening cancerous brain tumor. Jyriaun has already undergone brain surgery and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatments in Oakland. The Chambers family resides in Stockton. Jagada and Dawn have not left their sons side during these difficult times. As you can imagine, mounting medical bills, the expense of living away from home, and transportation costs has put a huge financial burden on the family. These expenses are the last thing this wonderful family should have to worry about at this time.
